The English Renaissance had many types of food for example

• Allspice - a New World food item, also called Jamaican Pepper.
• Artichokes
• Bananas - known about, but still a foreign fruit and considered exotic.
• Broccoli
• Chili Peppers
• Chocolate - New World discovery.
• Cocoa - New World.
• Coffee - did not reach Europe until after the middle Ages.
• Cranberries
• Green Beans
• Green Peppers
• Iceberg Lettuce - modern development of the lettuce
• Indian corn -our modern corn, the large cobs with yellow, white, or brown kernels.
• Kiwi fruit.
• Margarine - an invention of the modern food-chemistry industry.
• Peanuts
• Pineapple
• Potatoes - despite their association with Ireland, potatoes originally came from South America made popular late in the Renaissance.
• Red Peppers (capsicums)
• Yellow Peppers
• Rhubarb - like the banana, possibly known about but never used.
• Shortening - an invention of the modern food-chemistry industry.
• Tea - did not reach Europe until after the middle Ages.
• Turkey - Turkey is a New World food that reached Asia Minor only after 1500 and did not come into general use in Europe until well after the Renaissance.
• Tomatoes - a member of the Nightshade family, it was considered inedible or poisonous.
• Vanilla Bean
• Yams - New World.

I learned that they were so many different foods they created back then. But look at us now we kind of use their same foods they did because like we use the yellow peppers for Chile it’s like were living the past.

We had some really good inventions in the English Reniance I have a very few good examples. The first was is a clock it was invented by Galileo it was to measure the 24 hours a day. The next one will be the eye glasses. Only the right people wored the glasses. Some painters would even paint with them on. The next one will be the printing press it was invented by Gutenberg. Its purpose was for creating books. The next invention will be the gun powder. This was mostly use for war the soldiers would put the gun powder in the gun and then shot the bad people. They also used it for fireworks witch was pretty cool back then. The next one is the submarine. It was created by Leonardo da Vinci it purposes was for war but it was more like to be secretive where no buddy would know who could hear them. Last but not least my last invention I picked is wall paper. Its purpose was designs etc. So far I learned that all these inventions haven’t faded way and theirs still a lot of them out their. But its amazing how we still use them as today its like nothing change like were still living the past. My favorite invention they made would have to be the gun power because of the fireworks. But I wonder how they looked like is they like the ones today or are they different that’s something I would like to learn.

Music in the English Renaissance. They had different types of music ill give a few types. The first type I choose was church music. I chose this because back then church was a big thing people had different religions. Like they said “The style of renaissance church music is described as choral polyphony meaning more than one part. “ I think that’s pretty cool they had more than one part it makes it more interesting. My next type is Madrigals I chose this one because they are the best of the best I learned that they can sing any note nothing is impossible for them they have the highest pitches and good vocals’ next topic is instrumental i didn’t know that way back then they had instruments its pretty cool to know that the world hasn’t changed but its been improved a little. I also learned that music was more important   than the instruments they were just used mostly for dancing.Whats cool is that they had Lute, Viol ,Crumhorn, Racket, Sackbut, Trumpet. What caught my eye was the triumph were still use that in everyday’s bands that’s one thing that will always be in the future. My last type will be the keyboard. The popular instrument was the virginal. It was famous because it contained over 300 pices.Alot of their music was programmic.Through all this I learned that things in the past will always be in the future just because their very old dosent mean that we the people still don’t use them.
